***** Prep A/B - Your Help is Urgently Needed *****

We would really appreciate any help this coming Sunday (28th March) for the Prep A/B Competition being held at the Gryphon. As we have only one pair entered, we know we will be struggling for willing helpers, so please, please do support the Club. We need cakes / biscuits / filled rolls etc to sell on the refreshment stall; these can be brought in on Saturday or Sunday. There are many other jobs that need doing - please speak to David Barrington ASAP and let him know what time you can spare.

Fees

Fees are now due for the Summer Term and need to be in by 16th May '10. Cheques are to be made payable to Gryphon West Gym Club and should be handed to Katie Donaldson or Jane Bell. Alternatively, you can now pay on line; just ask Katie Donaldson for details.

Full term fees are:
1st Child - £85.00
2nd Child - £76.50

Half term fees are:
1st Child - £42.50
2nd Child - £38.25

London Festival Reminder

We have once again been invited to take part in the London Festival on the 15/16/17 (Fri/Sat/Sun) October at Brentwood, NE London. Costs will be approx. £90 each and we need numbers and deposits of £10 as soon as possible please.

For those that haven't been before, the festival starts with a gala performance and then fireworks on the Friday night. On the Saturday, and hopefully, the Sunday, the Club will compete in a six minute display.

We would like to take all those that want to go but need some early indication of numbers. We are thinking of a 'Carnival' theme.

Transport will again be by mini-bus and we aim to stay in the Thriftwood Scout Camp Lodges. This is dormitory-style with beds and a big hall. By doing this, the cost has been kept down and we will collect monies monthly if you wish to spread the cost.

This will include travel, accommodation and entries to the Festival itself, as well as most meals.

Thorpe Park

It is also planned that a trip to Thorpe Park will take place after the SW Championships in July. A date will be selected and interest slips sent out nearer the time. It is intended that we book the same mini-buses as used for the London Festival to make it a real family day out.
