Schools
Competition
We will again be hosting
this year's Schools Competition on Sunday 7th February and with an excess
of £2,900 worth of entries, it will be not only a busy day but also an
opportunity for the club to make some money.
-
We intend to do a
raffle once again, so if anyone has any unwanted Christmas presents,
bottles of wine, chocolates etc. that they could donate as prizes,
please pass them to Jane Bell or David Barrington
-
Please could all
parents provide some sort of refreshment that could be sold on the
day, filled rolls, cakes etc.
-
Help will be needed
doing all sorts of jobs: scoring, number cards, taking money on the
door, selling raffle tickets, serving refreshments etc. Please, please
try to make yourself available to help in some capacity, even if only
for a short time. The more people that help, the better. We will
ensure you get to watch your child, and remember, we do still have to
organize the actual competition, provide judges and still coach the
gymnasts, so it will be all hands on deck.

Competition
Time

The
next couple of months are the most important within the gymnastic
calendar. Please ensure you try not to miss any sessions, and if you are
going to be absent, please remember to let Jane and your partners know. We'd
also like to remind gymnasts to arrive on time, dressed and ready to
start. If you have blocks, please remember to bring them along.
