Thank You for Your Support at the Schools Competition

Schools went very successfully and although Craig (Tumbling) was the only person from the club to qualify for the National Finals in May, we still gained 1 more medal than in 2009. Well done to Craig!

On refreshments, we raised £530.37 and on the raffle another £123.85 So, another good job done and many thanks to all those that helped. I did receive feedback from several Coaches and have enclosed one feedback as follows:

"Hi Jane, thought I would send a quick note to say very well done and thank you for a well organised and run comp yesterday. You seemed very calm whenever I saw you. What's more, it ran ahead of time. Very impressive. If you have a post comp meeting at all, I would like you to pass on my thanks to your team of helpers. You all did a great job - even when I tried to ruin the whole thing by plonking my foot on the fuse plug and stopping all the PA system. Sorry for that!"

I was also told of some exceptionally helpful kids on Sunday, so congratulations to Georgia Holder, Owen Edwards, Craig Goldring, Chloe Hawkins, Nick Hole and Katie Bell.

South West Prelims

Just confirmation that SW Prelims are being held at Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton this year. It is vitally important that you attend all sessions between now and the competition on 27/28 February. Although we do not have exact times, we can advise at this stage what day you are likely to be competing, and that all tumbling will take place on the Saturday. 

London Festival

We have once again been invited to take part in the London Festival on the 15/16/17 (Fri/Sat/Sun) October at Brentwood, NE London. Costs will be approx. £90 each and we need numbers and deposits of £10 as soon as possible please.
